When: March 27, 2010

Location:
Bank of America Building - 555 California Street, San Francisco

Start Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
You will be assigned a specific starting wave time one week before the event. Generally, teams with many members will receive the earlier starting wave times with smaller teams and individual climbers starting later inthe morning.

Please come about one hour before your wave time to check-in, receive your timing chip and
t-shirt and warm up.

Entrance Fees: $25 plus a MINIMUM Fundraising requirement of $100.
The bad news is that if this goal is not met the amount will be charged to your credit card, but the good news is you have one month after the event to meet the goal. Also, if you raise say $40 only the diference will be charged to your card.

Know this is kind of short notice, but believe this Goal can be accomplished. If you need help approaching people for a donation, please ask me, as I am on the Leadership Team.
This should give us plenty of time to Fundraise and Train

Info for Guests / Non Climbers:

Enjoy the view while you wait for us at the top.

Obtain Guest passes for the finish-line celebration - Available for $20 each

How Our Participation All Began:

Since, Mom passed away 2001, I have been wanting to do something to get involved in fighting and speaking out for Lung Cancer victims but never had, until my childhood friend talked me into doing this Climb. Well, Thank God, Kathy conned me into this! Since, we are gluttons for punishment, we are gearing up to Climb again.

Come Join us for our 2nd Annual Climb to The Top of the Bank of America Building to Support the FIGHT FOR AIR....

I was so scared that I would end up with Rubber Legs, not be able to move the next day or worse yet not make it all the way, NOT the case. We did it and gee, Kathy & I and Bil were surprised on how quickly we made it to the top. Believe me, we were'nt pushing it, we stopped for the water breaks and to catch our breath. What I'm trying to express is that, if I can do it, you certainly can. It's so worth it to know that you can accomplish something that some might take for granted. Oh and if this isn't enough incentive to join us, don't worry there are all age and fitness levels doing this climb... You just take one step at a time and go at your own pace!

Obviously, we survived and lived to tell the tale. And, boy what a tale it is? 52 flights = 1197 Stairs, we completed in approximately 35 minutes, LOVE the view at the top at the Carnelian Room (which sadly closed January 1, 2010), enjoyed good entertainment, food and fellow Climbers and all for a Great Cause!!!

Come JOIN THE FUN!!!
